Using Sumlino
These terms cover the website, extension, and account services provided by Sumlino in South Carolina, United States. Contact sumlino.contact@gmail.com with questions. By using Sumlino, you agree to these terms. If you use it for an organization, you must have authority to do so.
You must be at least 18, provide accurate account information, protect access to your account, and only use client information you are authorized to process. Report suspected unauthorized access promptly.
Your accounting decisions
Sumlino provides organization, transcription, review assistance, and drafts of client reports. It is not accounting, tax, legal, audit, or investment advice. You remain responsible for checking source records, amounts, report periods, accounting basis, transcript accuracy, and the client selected before saving a note or acting on a review prompt.
A client report is a draft until you review and approve it, and you decide what to share with a client. Dashboard cleanup changes records only after you preview and confirm each batch.
Sumlino does not automatically post to the general ledger. A prompt is a reason to review, not proof of an error. Keep your own required records and backups; Sumlino is not a system of record.
Your information and responsibilities
You retain your rights in the content you provide. You authorize Sumlino and its service providers to process it as needed to supply the features you use, subject to our Privacy notice and any applicable written agreement.
Do not submit credentials, payment-card details, or information you are not permitted to share. Do not use Sumlino for unlawful activity, compromise another user’s account, bypass access controls or usage limits, or disrupt the service. Contact us before providing data subject to special contractual, regulatory, or hosting requirements so we can confirm suitability.
Availability and changes
Sumlino is still early and may contain errors, change, be interrupted, or have features withdrawn. Availability can depend on browser permissions, supported page layouts, third-party services, and account settings. Not every demonstration is enabled in every environment.
Any future paid plan, price, or billing terms will be disclosed before you choose to subscribe. These terms alone do not authorize a charge. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, misuse, legal requirements, or operation of the service.
Product and third-party services
Sumlino retains rights in its software, branding, and website. While you follow these terms, you may use the service for its intended purposes. Other companies’ names, trademarks, and services remain theirs. Your use of connected or linked services is also subject to their terms.
Sumlino is independent of Intuit and QuickBooks. Compatibility does not imply endorsement.
Important limits
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted or error-free operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or a particular financial outcome. You should independently verify results before relying on them.
Nothing in these terms excludes a liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits mandatory consumer or data-protection rights. South Carolina and applicable United States law govern these terms, subject to any mandatory protections that apply where you live.
Ending use and updates
You can stop using Sumlino at any time. Uninstalling the extension does not close your account or delete cloud records. See Data requests to request account closure or deletion.
